The benchmark home price in Strathmore rose nearly 12% in May, reaching $439,300. Cochrane also saw an increase of over 10%, with a benchmark price of $568,200. Airdrie had a 10% growth to $549,600, despite a 7% decline in sales. Chestermere's benchmark price reached $702,300, up almost 8%, with sales down 6% and new listings up 31%. Okotoks had an 8% increase to $621,400, while High River's benchmark price grew 8% to $481,100. Canmore's benchmark price surpassed $1 million for the first time, increasing by about 11% to $1,008,000.
