Calgary is conducting an online survey until the end of September to gather feedback on short-term rental regulations. The Short-Term Rental Study aims to analyze market characteristics, public perceptions, and the impact of short-term rentals on the housing market. The study, in collaboration with the University of Calgary, found a 25% increase in rentals over the past year, with a significant concentration in inner-city areas. Results will inform recommendations for city council in December, addressing housing and economic development priorities.
