Ten Calgary non-profits have received $1 million in grant funding from the City of Calgary to support affordable housing projects through The Home Program. This initiative, launched in 2017, has funded over 100 housing projects. Approximately half of the awarded projects focus on housing supports for Indigenous People, Black and Racialized, and equity-deserving populations. The funding is expected to assist 1,400 Calgarians and the projects will begin implementation later this year, with completion anticipated by late 2026.
