Progress made on Calgary’s housing strategy, but crisis worsening: report

Calgary city council will receive an update on the impact of the new housing strategy implemented in September. The strategy aims to address the housing crisis by building more homes and supporting non-profits. Despite progress, one-in-five households in Calgary still struggle to afford housing. Rent in the province has increased by 16.2% compared to last year.
