Renter shares booming in Calgary faster than any other Prairie city

Average home prices in Calgary range from $587,300 to $676,400, making ownership unattainable for many. Calgary has seen significant growth in renter shares, with 31% opting to rent. Younger millennials and seniors over 65 dominate the rental market. Winnipeg has the highest renter share at 36.8%, followed by Edmonton at 36.2%, and Saskatoon at 34.9%.
