City announces five downtown residential projects, including two office conversions

Calgary is advancing its initiative to convert vacant office buildings into residential spaces, with five new projects set to revitalize the downtown area. Supported by over $20 million from the city's incentive program, these developments will create more than 1,100 housing units and attract over $350 million in private investment. The Hat Eau Claire, a recent conversion, offers 87 rental homes, while another project will provide 195 premium units.
